On Friday, June 4, 2021, an online tour of the institute was held for Osaka Prefectural Tennoji High School students.
After a lecture by Associate Professor Takashi Minami of the Complex Plasma Systems Research Section on "Fusion and Plasmon Physics for a Sustainable Society", Associate Professor Shinji Kobayashi of the Advanced Plasma Energy Research Section gave a live-streamed introduction of Heliotron J, the core device of the institute. After that, we live-streamed an experiment of plasma using a microwave oven.
