Visit from the Office of the Energy Regulatory Commission (OERC) of the Kingdom of Thailand and the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC)

On the morning of Friday, July 18, 2025, a delegation of 43 members, including the Deputy Secretary-General, the Director of the Center, and the Deputy Director-General from the Office of the Energy Regulatory Commission (OERC) of the Kingdom of Thailand and the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), visited our institute.
The visit began with welcome remarks from Professor Yasuyuki Kono, Vice President for International Strategy of Kyoto University. This was followed by introductions to the overviews of our institute and the Research Institute for Sustainable Humanosphere (RISH), presented by Professor Masato Katahira, Director of our institute, and Dr. Bo Yang, Assistant Professor at RISH, respectively.
Afterward, the delegation toured key research facilities, including the Heliotron J — a core device of our institute — as well as the experimental equipment at ICaNS and the Advanced Microwave Energy Transmission Laboratory (A-METLAB) at RISH.
