Promotion of Energy Science Education for Sustainable Development

in Myanmar

Objective
In order to promote the dissemination of Energy Science and Technology (S&T) toward a sustainable development through establishment of the appropriate energy system in Myanmar, the project aims at developing a methodology and mechanism to promote the UNESCO ESD(Education for Sustainable
Development) by;

1) fostering the educator for energy science in Myanmar,
2) developing the educational curriculum and material customized for Myanmar based on the “Energy for Sustainable Development in Asia of UNESCO ESD-COMPETENCE”, and it’s extension version of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
3) complementing the UNESCO-ESD project.
