Promotion of Energy Science Education for Sustainable Development

in Asia (Vietnam) 

Objective
To create  a multi- and inter-disciplinary higher education course in Vietnam that covers a broad range of energy for sustainable development issues 

–renewable energy technology and policy
–energy-related environmental and social issues
–gender and energy equity

Methodology
1) developing the educational curriculum and material customized for Laos based on the “Energy for Sustainable Development in Asia of UNESCO ESD-COMPETENCE”.
2) 3 workshops and 2 dissemination seminars (Hanoi, HCM).

3) developed course materials (English version, Vietnamese version) have been delivered by download page.

Duration: May 2011 to March 2012
