Kansai Seminar House is a Christian Conference Center located in a beautiful environment in the Northern part of Kyoto between the Shugakuin Imperial Villa and the Manshuin Temple. Behind the modern guest house with Western style guest rooms and conference facilities, the house has a traditional Japanese style house with Japanese rooms, a Noh stage which can also be used for conferences, and a Japanese tea house, all located in a traditional Japanese garden.

The workshop site, Kansai Seminar House, is located at the foot of Mount Hiei, neighboring Shugakuin Imperial Villa. Access map (in Japanese) is available at the website of the Seminar House (http://www.kansai-seminarhouse.com/access/).

When you arrive at NRT, you can take the JR NARITA Express to JR Tokyo station for 60 min. Please purchase the Tokaido Shinkansen "reserved" ticket for “NOZOMI” to Kyoto. At Tokyo station, you go from the NARITA Express basement platform to the TOKAIDO Shinkansen platform (it takes 15 minutes). From Tokyo to Kyoto, it takes 135 minutes. The “NOZOMI” train is operated almost every 10 min.
(In the case of Haneda airport, please take the KEIKYU line to Shinagawa station for 15 minutes. Then, please change from the KEIKYU line to JR Tokaido Shinkansen. You may purchase the “reserved” ticket for “NOZOMI” at JR Shinagawa station. It takes 124min from Shinagawa to Kyoto.)

When you arrive at KIX in Osaka, it is more convenient to Kyoto. Please take the “HARUKA” express bound for Kyoto for 75 minutes.

At Kyoto Station, please take the "KARASUMA" subway to Kitayama station for 20 minutes. At the No. 2 Exit at Kitayama station, you can take a cab to "The KANSAI Seminar House" next to the "Manshuin Temple.”

If your luggage is too big, we’d like to advise you to take a cab at JR Kyoto Station. MK Taxi at Kyoto station provides a more convenient service at the "HACHIJYO" Exit of JR Kyoto station.
It costs about \ 4,500-5,000.
